IT RUNS RUFF TILL IT WARMS UP.AFTER IT WARMS UP I CAN PUT THE PADDLE TO THE FLOOR AND IT WONT GET OVER 2500 RPM,S AND WHEN I DRIVE IT. IT'S SLOW ABOUT GETTING UP TO 55 OR 60 MPH. THANKS FOR ANY HELP

It's worn out, plain and simple. There is crappy compression until it warms up enough for the rings to seal a little better. You need to rebuild the engine, or put a couple of tins of STP in it for a partial temporary fix.

Check your feul injectors. At around 300,000 miles, such things as your oil pan, fuel filters, intake valves, feul injectors, etc. need to be checked often for any sign of engine damage (ie: metal flakes, discoloration). Go to any auto parts store an look for fuel injector cleaner, you just add the whole bottle the next time you fill your gas tank. As for not being able to get above 2500 rpm, that could be any number of things. Most likely just normal wear and tear on the engine.

Your best bet is to take it down to a trusted mechanic and have them tune your F-350. I reccomend using either a certified Ford dealship or Ford specialty auto shop.

have you ever had the glowplugs replaced, if not that may be your problem.
