I just got a new 320G My Book external HD for my notebook. When I opened it I realized that it came with a 6-pin firewire cable, I was wondering if I can use a 4-pin to 6-pin cable instead as that is the only firewire port my laptop has on it. I don't kow much about firewire and I don't want to corrupt my brand new hard drive, but I want it to work as fast a possible.
