Coffee helps a lot, its keeps you awake and focus, but sometimes it doesn't work if you didn't have slept enough but actually studying in a Quiet environment helps alot more that drinking soft drinks or non-alcoholic drinks.

Yeah, coffee is good, or you can try green tea. Some green tea gives me acid indigestion, though. There's a supplement called Gingko Bilboa Plus that is supposed to help the supply of blood to the brain. I use it with coffee and think it helps me focus. It has gingko, gotu kola and some other herbs. Cigarettes also really helped me get through writing some long essays, but I don't reccomend them. They started messing up my teeth, my throat started hurting and generally didn't feel good after 3 weeks of smoking, and I quit. The last suggestion I have is to try eating more whole grains. I know it's trendy these days to talk about whole grains, but they really do seem to make me feel healthier and more energetic. Www.sparkpeople.com has a lot of information about eating healthy whole grains. Search for "energy" on their website. They explain that grains are complex carbohydrates that are broken down slowly providing energy throughout the day, as opposed to simple sugars that just provide a quick fix and then drop you on your a**. Other suggestions are to find a quiet place, or put on soothing music to block out any noise. Hope this helps.

well, you can try expresso, if it is too strong for you, you can downgrade it abit to coffee, tea, juices...

actually drink does not really help you concentrate on your studies more, instead, its yourself, as long as you have a will to study, you can do it easily... also, the environment you're in.... most people tend to study better in quiet environment...
hope this helps....

coffee. If that fails, try cranberry juice. The tanginess wakes up the brain, although a bit less than a final-exam-grade coffee.

coffee addiction is not good for studies - although I recommend taking it early morning but not before sleep as it hurts your immunity.
