Yes of course the rovers Spirit and Oppurtunity are still working and sending back all the data. They have completed almost 3 years but they were actually sent for a 90 days mission. They are working nicely. They will continue to work

hear a lot of chatter on the Internet by non-enthusiastic on-lookers about the waste of certain space projects. At last we
have a project that was originaly designed to last about 90 days that is performing well far, far beyond its expected life and projected component failures. When you get something that "correct" there is a very good team of designers and technicians at work. We should all be very proud of them and
celibrate their accomplishment. Not only did they pin the tail on the donkey, they won first prize for a marvelous success.
