I'm about to buy either a playstation 3 or an xbox 360. From what i gathered i find that the 360 has come out with alot more games than the ps3. But in the long run the playstation 3 will have better graphics. From the pas tthe playstation has also had more games and typically better graphics. My question is that from your perspective why would one be better than the other. The person with the best information regarding why the one they think is the best will be the one i choose best answer for. Not only that. If its intereting enough i will buy that system. I'm not looking for advertisments of anykind. I'm just alittle confused of wich one to buy.

It's total bull about the Wii and 360 getting the bulk of the developers unless she's talking about the 2 combined. Experts are saying that the PS3 will have the most developers behind it because of the success of the PSX and PS2. The 360 is a miserable failure in Japan. In a little over a month, the PS3 has sold more units than the 360 has sold in over a year in Japan, and the PS3 is suffering from a shortage. Imagine how much worse it's going to be if there were no PS3 shortages. Japanese developers are not going to develop games for the 360 if this trend continues. The Gamecube is a prime example of 3rd party developers abandoning a system because of the lack of sales.

The PS3 will have better graphics, and you should be able to see it next year, when the big guns are released, like Lair, Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavenly Sword, etc. Bull about developers taking 4 or 5 years to make the most of the PS3. The only thing he got right is that it's somewhat difficult to develop for the PS3 because of the cell processor.

A next gen HD format is essential because games are getting bigger and bigger. Game worlds are getting more and more detailed. AI is getting smarter and smarter. The only way to put all this info is on a next gen disk. It's wrong for Sony to try to push the Blu-ray as the next format by putting it in the PS3, but from the get-go, Sony wanted to use a next gen disk.

If you're talking about right now, then go with the 360 because it does have the most games out right now, and that's because it's been out for over a year, while the PS3 has only been out for a little over a month.

If you're thinking about the future, go with the PS3. I wouldn't worry too much about the cell processor being too difficult because Sony has been really helpful with providing tools for developers. Sony did it for the PSX, and it did it for the PS2, so the trend continues with PS3. The PS3 will have more developers.

If you're asking about which system is better 2 year from now, i don't have the answer to that, but as of right now the Xbox 360 blows away the PS3. The PS3 supposed to have better graphic but none of the games release showed that. You have to remember that specification doesn't mean a thing in the real world. The Xbox 360 is only slightly less powerful than the PS3 but it's also a lot easier to program for, therefore you can get the best out of it sooner than the PS3. A console average life is about 5 years and by the time the programmers can get the best graphic out of the PS3 you won't even want it because there's a better console out there ---PS4 or Xbox 1080, perhaps.Let's face it, most people won't even going to see or notice the difference between the graphic on the 2 consoles even if the graphic on both consoles has maxed out. The xbox 360 is the best right now : better graphics, cheaper, available everywhere, more killer games, xbox live absolutely kill Sony live and Microsoft is not arrogant enough to try to force HD-DVD down our throat like Sony did with the Blu-Ray on the PS3. I like to have the option to choose which dvd movie format i want to watch. So, what's there not to like about the xbox 360??

Graphics do not equal gameplay. I would pick up a 360 or a Wii because they seem to have the bulk of developer support now. The 360 has already released really solid titles in Oblivion and Gears of War. The Wii had Zelda: Twilight Princess come out, voted game of the year by alot of the video game media. Nobody can deny that the Wii is an innovative system.

Actually, you could get a 360 and a Wii for pretty much the price of a PS3.

Wow so lucky... I can't even get to buy any of those T.T Its so expensive in Malaysia T.T OK. Obviously PS3 have the latest technology among the other consoles. PS3 is more powerful then Xbox 360 and enable gaming companies to produce greater graphics for future PS3 games. But for now the graphics for the games on both consoles are about the same.

If you are into online gaming, I suggest you play on the xbox 360 even though online gaming for PS3 is free. The online features for the xbox is far more better then PS3. By the way, Xbox 360 is cheaper then PS3. If I'm you, I would buy the 360 1st. I'll get PS3 when its cheaper and when there are games that i really want to play on PS3.

PS3. The pics are astonishing, 2008 interest line up is large and its have been given in simple terms approximately each and every thing you pick. pics pass as much as 1080p, maximum determination, like the xbox360. Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is the only interest that could cope with 1080p, 60 fps with sixteen autos. little or no of the PS3's power has been utilized. RFoM is declared to in basic terms burn up 10-20% of the SPE's and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, is barely claimed to take up a million/3 of the PS3's power. interest line up for 2008. in basic terms a number of the good ones. They are both almost identical. Graphics virtually the same, gameplay pretty much the same. It all comes down to price and availability to determine which is better. I have an xbox 360 and I just love it. I have tried the wii and was not at all impressed. I tried the ps3 and it was almost exactly the same as my xbox 360.

It depends if you want to wait. Xbox 360(which i have) is cheaper(if you buy get the premium) and has alot of great games out plus you have the Halo serie.

PS3 is like 600 dollars and doesnt have that great of games out.... Either way it's not like your gonna notice the grpahics difference they very close..... Either way its witch one you like better. The 360 has xbox live and all the great games from the origional. Same with the PS3...... It all depends on how much you want to spend.

And the 360 has some great immersive game slike oblivion and Gears of war... both worth checking out
