He lived his entire life in a deeply Catholic country, and was crowned Emperor of France by Pope Pius VII. I don't see how anyone could think Napoleon was Muslim.

Napoleone Buonaparte was from Corsica which is a french island in the Mediterranean sea - and ultra catholic as it once was Italian... (actually till 1300 it belonged to the pope's estates - the Italian influence you still can see in their language which is similar to Italian and has the same roots)

ergo: he was Catholic!

No. If he was, he did not make it public. He respected the Muslim scholars, when in Egypt.

No I do not belive he was a Muslim, However he did have Arab and Muslim forces in his army. He brought them back with him from Africa.

no. he was born catholic but wasn't a religious man. didn't exactly gave a damn about any religion
