I am lucky enough to be like freakin' clockwork, when I'm not on depo, so I don't have personal experience, but I do have friends who weren't regular for up to five to ten years. My midwife was never regular, from the time she started at like 13 until she had a hysterectomy in her late 30s.
Best of luck staying sane through this. Check with an OB/GYN or midwife just to make sure that nothing is wrong.

Yes, quite normal, especially in the early years, but some women never have regular periods.

yes it's normal some women's periods never regulate themselves
it will make it tough on you when you decide to get pregnant and a pain in the butt when you need to know whether you can make plans to go swimming or whether to buy that nice white dress to go out in
but other than that it will be no worries

Yes, that is normal. As a matter a fact i have had my period for thee years and it does that. I asked my grandma(since she is a nurse) and she said that it is perfectly normal. It is your body going to through natural changes.
