I don't know the answer. I wish people everywhere would understand that we are all the same. There are good and bad in every race. The more reasons people come up with to divide ourselves, the worse this world is going to be. I think that the only thing that can bring us together is an invasion of our planet from an alien race that wants to take over. Aside from something ridiculous like that, I think we are doomed to be forever dividing ourselves.

Not everybody. My theory is that the world is overfull and everybody is protecting their bit of turf. Anything from outside is seen as a threat, to be repulsed.
I don't think this is just racial, nationalism plays it's part as well.
