For example, the "war on terror" has created more terror, the "war on drugs" has led to more violent street crrime and a greater variety and potency of available drugs. The "war on poverty" has created more poverty and a permanent welfare class. The war on Iraq, which was supposed to help the people of Itraq, has turned their lives into living hell. Has the government ever instituted a program that did not make things worse for the people that it is supposed to help?
