actually so many people r der in indian cricket, we can't specify any one of dem as god father, but here i am trying 2 answer up 2 my best of my knowledge.

1. mahindra amarnath :our 1st captain
2. kapil dev : captain and back bone in getting da 1983 world cup
3. sunilgavaskar : 34 centuries in test cricket (2nd world record)
der r some guys followed by these r,
4. sachin (highest test & oneday centuries )
5. kumble (10 wkts in one test innigs)

i didnt consider sachin r kumble as god fathers, in my view kapil is da god father of indian cricket.
