Absolutely none.
At best you could describe them as your son or daughters father-in-law and mother-in-law.

There is no "official" or lawful relationship. However, especially if there are grandchildren involved, it benefits the parents of the married couple to get along. My in-laws are major jerks and my parents have nothing to do with them. They haven't seen each other since my husband's and my wedding and there is no phone or mail contact. However, my sister's in-laws are very nice people and they live close to my parents. They all get along and in fact spent Christmas together at my sister's house today. I would have loved to have had that kind of relationship with my in-laws but no such luck.

If the couple is lucky their parents will get along and keep their noses out the new couples business, but there is no relationship between them other than being grandparents to there kids.

It depends on the couple and how close they want their parents to be, if the couple think that their parents would not get along, then, they should not even bother themselves trying.
Bit if they think that there are a lot of things in common then it will be nice if they bring them closer .

They would see each other at family events, etc., usually they don't get too close, but are cordial.
