Its always easy to say yes or no when its just comes to research or any question-answer.
But it needs a lot of courage and brave heart to do such heroic act.But nevertheless, courageous people are there in this world...and may do such heroic act ....
I am not sure but might think to give away my heart depending on the situation....

Wow. This is really thought provoking ... I guess the real question here is would you be willing to give up your last three years in order to provide someone else with a lifetime?
I would LIKE to say that yes, I would make that sacrifice. There are some people that I KNOW I could do it for ... others, I'm not so sure. Three years is short in the grand scheme of things ... but if you are faced with it as being all you have left, it could seem like a lifetime. Think of all the things you could experience in three years ... but then again, think of all the things someone else could experience in forty? You wouldn't be able to spend any of that time with them anyway ...
I really like this question ... even though I guess I didn't really answer it. It made me think ... which not many questions do. A welcome break from the mundane.

A tough decision to make. I doubt the possibility. Heroic act, i would rather say not a heroic act if this sacrifice is made to give life to an ordinary person! Good luck let me know when you release your novel.Interesting.

There was a slightly similar situation at the end of season one of Dark Angel. Max had gotten shot in the heart by her X-7 clone and she was about to die, so Zack shot himself in the head in order that she might have his heart, and it saved her. Granted, he got turned into a sort of cyborg later, but I think you get the point. Yes, there are situations in which that might be done.

ya offcourse it is possible to sacrifice yourself because if someone needs your heart that means that person loves you. And that person will be the happiest person in the world and you will get lots of blessings from the God.

If that circumstances happened to me, I diligently think it first. First, I will put myself fix about my personal, financial, emotional and spiritual problem that I have in my life in order to avoid sophisticated consience later on. After, I decided to do the right thing for my love ones in order to make him/her for a life time.

I wouldn't have to know that I only had 3 good years left.
If either of my sons or any of my grandsons needed my heart, they could have it now. No regrets or 2nd thoughts.
