americans are known for getting all the media hype but at the polls doing something complete different. i don't think obama will carry the southern states not in a million years. Unless the hispanics love obama which isn't obvious yet

Considering that whoever is elected in 2008 will most likely run as an incumbent in 2012, That would imply a Republican President in 2008. If another Republican is elected President in 2008, I would say ALL the current Democrat candidates should step aside and let someone else try to revive the party.
