If so, why?

Yes!!! I am relieved.

I am relieved because Christmas is the one part of the year where people do the dumbest things; put on the biggest pretenses; and stray so many degree off-target of what should be a religious holiday.

I hate the retailing hype; the crowds; the traffic; the Santa Claus myth; and the lovely way that we greet our fellow man when they are accidentally cut-off in traffic.

I hate how some people are unable to control the amount of "Christmas Cheer" that they consume, and then they end up on the highways weaving, slow-driving, lane changing and just out 'n' out drunk.

I hate seeing sad little children that did not get what they think they wanted this Christmas due to limited product availability; expense of the items of desire; or parents inability to provide for their child(ren).

Yes... I am glad the Christmas is over. Maybe... just maybe... the world can get back to normal again, and we can get those stupid retailers from advertising so much on the television.

Well this is just my thought. Xmas is a fun holiday, however I am not kidding I saw Xmas things going in some restaurants and store before Halloween. So when you have Xmas in your face for about 3 months, yes I am glad that's its over. Also I will not miss the traffic, crowds. It should be like a long time ago when you started see Xmas things after Thanksgiving. To sum it up it goes back to the saying "Too much of a good thing"

The pressure of having to be a particular places and having to do a lot of extra work will not be missed, but the joy and kindness of people during the Christmas Season will be missed.

And I don't know about the rest of you, but doesn't it just make you want to hurl that there are ST PATRICK'S and VALENTINES items out in stores, don't you find that obscene?
