Honey kids are going to do what they are going to do with or without our permission. I think talking to your kids after they start puberty is our best defense let them know they can talk to you no matter what do over dramatize the situation. They all have little crushes sometimes as early as 1st grade having a boy friend or girlfriend does not mean they will have a baby its up to the knowledge we as parents give them. But I would say if one of my kids came home with a baby on the way they had better be prepared to start the rest of their life that is exactly what they would be doing as parents. I would be a grandmother not a mommy.

A serious date doesn't mean that the 'minors' want to have sex.Even if they want,if someone has explained them how to use condoms and pills, there won't be any pregnancies, etc. You ca stop your child of having sex only if you lock his/her door and never let him/her go out, until he/she is 30 years old.Othervise if children want to have sex, they will have it,no matter whether you like it or not.So better explain these chldren what is love, what is condom and what is privacy and how to keep it.

times have changed and kids are more sexual at an earlier age, but that dosent always mean they are having intercourse.
it is, as far as im concerned, a parents responsability to ensure there child has all the information about relationships and birth control! if you dont want ur daughter to get preg at 11 give her condoms, put her on the pill/injection and explain why she has to do it!!
if you dont want your son to get a girl preg give him condoms!!
if ur kid is having sex that young u need to find out why! (pressure, gang etc)
my mum insisted that i take the pill when i had my first serious relationship, (same with all my sisters) she gave me condoms. iwas 13, i didnt actually have sex till 16 because i had all the information an i knew i wasnt ready!
im now 22 nearly finished uni and 12wks pregnant. ( average age of having first in my family)
if it wernt for my mum and what she did i could have been a single mum at 13. i would have never finished school or got my qualification, met my man of 4yrs or be happy.

At what age are we mature enough to be parents ? I know some people in their 20s who have kids and are very irresponsable parents , but I also know a 16yo who is a great mum .
I think dating as teens helps us figure out peoples personalities so we can make better judgements in the future.
But we also have a responsability to make sure that our teens know all about safe sex and STIs

I won't let my daugther to date that young period!! No teenager is ready to be a parent, even if they start dating at 16 or 17. It is the parents job to make sure their child is well informed about all the risks involved with sex. If she is taught good moral values, she will make good decisions when she does start dating. And no parent wants to have to raise their grandchild, or see their child struggle with being a young parent, so teaching your child is the best prevention of pregnancy or disease.

Let me first take examples from life to explain this.A raw mango will not taste as sweet as a ripe one.vegetables improperly cooked would not taste as delicious as properly cooked ones.Same thing applies to life.An immature child how much ever he\she may appear to is not mature enough to handle the pressures of life and will surely break down.An immature girl has immature mind and body. She will not be able handle a very early parenthood.Similarly a boy will not be able to handle the responsibility of a father.Children have the right to lead a life suited at their stage-to enjoy, study and slowly learn life and its problems.

Dating at 11 is wrong period. Regular dating should begin in High school and serious dating only after they have reached the age where they can support themselves and any children they may have.
