Went pretty good rather be sleeping all day but to busy. Sorry to here about your Christmas but he was probably pretty sick it is going around. It was better he left so he wouldn't spread it. Hope you have a wonderful New Year's.

Mine was good, for the only reason was seeing my kids enjoying their selves. I have a ten year old that stopped believing in Santa until today. I was quite proud of myself for accomplishing that. I bought a Santa bag and put the gift he wanted the most in it and put out on the back porch right by the recycling bins. After my ten year old and his baby brother finished opening all their gifts, I asked my oldest to put all the wrapping paper outside in the bins and he did (well sort of), he got outside onto the porch and seen the red bag and was started shouting that Santa left his and his baby brothers' gift outside. Needless to say all the wrapping paper he had in his hand to put in the bin was all over the place and I had to pick up because he was so excited. But it was worth it. Seeing that face was priceless. And for the time being, he believes in Santa again. Christmas is for the kids, and for their parents to enjoy the expressions and excitement. I hope this will brighten your day just a little bit. Think of your kids and their delight as they opened their gifts.

We opened gifts in the morning and then at 9 am the kids went to my ex-wifes house. It was like a reguar day after that. I called people to stay out of isolating myself. I would ask for an explanation from your fiance.

My mom passed away 6 months ago. My boys didnt call me today. My wife worked this morning so I was alone this Christmas morning. A bit of a rough morning but I kept myself busy. I went jogging, hauled firewood into the house and worked on my material for the upcoming New Years Eve gig. It could have been worse - I could have been in Iraq.

I don't feel well either but I still went to the family shin dig! Maybe he really is needing to rest and it's just that. I don't think you are selfish for wanting him to spend time with you and the family on X-mas. I had a good day but I'm @ work being sick now.LOL

it doesn't make you selfish, to want him there, but you should understand he didn't feel good and probably didn't want to get his child sick, just be thankful that he was there for a while, than not at all. and he was probably sleeping up until he called.. im sure if he wasn't sick he would of been there. sorry you had a bad christmas, but i think he did too. maybe when hes feeling better you and your children can celebrate it then. merry christmas.

K2u; dead fish smells in short order. There is something fishy in his alibi! I don't want to alarm you unnecessarily so, but as a man, I am on your side on this one.
You should have offered to bring to him a bowl of hot soup, and see how he reacted to your suggestion. If he said, " really it is to much a bother." I would take your shotgun over instead of the cup of soup. Don't cut your fingernails or toenails you maybe needing them.
Set the mouse trap with quality cheese and set him up. He maybe cheating on you!

it's disappointing and the timing is bad but i think he was trying to rest up to get better so he can spend more time with you and the family.
