for most states the legal age is 14 or 15. The only thing is that due to regulations by the federal government she can only work a small amount of hours. Also the working environment cannot be hazardous to the child ie heavy machinery, chemicals and so forth.

im pretty sure it is 14 but if you want 2 work at really big chain stores then u might need 2 b older.
