which means one of my x chromosomes has the trait becaus eit is sex-linked. This inspired me to do a project on it. What would be an interesting poster idea. Like the group doing hemophilia did bloody tissues and band-aids all over their poster to show the it wont stop bleeding. Any ideas. Thanks hun!

als o thank you for your kindness, since i just found out i arry the disease, i am now wondering what woul dbe teh right thing to do about having kids, sinc ethere would be a 50% chance my son woul dget it and a 50% chance my daughter would carry it.

Since the disease affects the muscles you could probably use the analogy of wheels..don't let their first set of wheels be a wheelchair....and use images of trikes and bikes then cars and finally a wheelchair...
I also had another idea...you could use cooked spaghetti as analogy for muscles affected by the disease...and have the phrase "if these were your muscles, could you stand with these?"

Before you think of having kids you may want to consult a geneticists about it...they could probably give you more details. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers hon.
