I mean after all; if everyone turned gay it would mean the end of mankind because there would be no more reproduction. I know I may offend alot of Gay people, but to me the idea of homosexuality being an accepted lifestyle in our society is disturbing! Its not that I hate gay people; but rather I cannot understand their lifestyle. And I cannot see how 2 people of the same sex can be attracted to each other. And I do not believe that someone is "born gay" because of some genetic or hormone factor. I think thats all Bull ****. What causes people to be this way?

But we are not animals! Animals lack the knowledge to know the difference! We don't! Human nature is evil! But I don't believe that homosexuality should be excepted as human nature.

When I say we are not animals; I mean like the rest of the species who's intelligence is nowhere near ours! We have the ability to know good from evil. Most animals do not!

Actually, homosexuality HAS been observed in nature in birds, monkeys, and many other warm-blooded animals.

"But we are not animals". Are you blind, or what? Humans are animals, regardless of how much we may want to isolate ourselves from that fact (you notice the mammals category we fit into?). Humans are animals, alright, but we are very different animals.
Nature doesn't prove homosexuality is wrong, it simply doesn't exist in the prime factors of nature. Since humans are still of the animal kingdom, you must notice we make many changes to our environment. We have been given powerful brains that allow us to think and use our imagination to create and manipulate the environment. This is what sets us slightly apart from other animals, and this is also where the root of homosexuality takes place. Humans, with the ability to free-think, create "opinions" in our minds, and born from the opinions are ways of life. Homosexuality is one of these ways of life, as is, say, a religion or a job.
But look at the world. How much of the population of humans falls into the homosexual category? The answer to that would be very few. Hence, we can still safely accept homosexuality without worrying that the human race will die out. There are billions of us.

Your first argument is illogical. "If everyone turned gay it would mean the end of mankind"

1) Being gay does not mean you CANNOT reproduce, it means you are not attracted to the natural means of reproduction...so people could still reproduce, they just would not enjoy it as much.

2)You could replace the word gay with the word male or female "If everyone turned female it would mean the end of mankind"...does that make being female wrong or evil?

You cannot understand being gay because you are not gay...I am not gay either, and I can't understand how a man could be sexually attracted to another man...but that doesn't mean that it is wrong or evil. I don't like liver and onions....I don't understand how anyone could like it....but I don't think that those people who do like it are "wrong or evil"

Well, you've already stated that you don't believe what I'm about to say, so I don't think this will change your mind. But, on I plunge...

You don't understand this "way of life" because you are not gay! If you were, you would realize that you are simply attracted to someone of the same sex. You wouldn't be able to help it--it would just be a given. Then you would have the choice to act on it or not. Given that we ARE animals, and that the urge to have our sexual needs gratified, you probably WOULD act upon it--unless you were terrified of the repercussions in your life or afterlife.

What you would also probably do is: be basically the same person that you are now--with the same goals, fears, loves and hates...you'd still like cotton candy, want to graduate college in engineering, or go to the beach on a hot day.

You would still love your family, go to church, walk in the park, maybe even want to have children...love dogs, hate cats, think that the Detroit Lions aren't worth a hill of beans as an NFL team, wish it could be your birthday twice a year.

In other words, you'd still be you! You wouldn't be a drug addict or a pedophile, you wouldn't try to seduce anyone who wasn't into you, you'd send your mom cards just to let her know you loved her.

Being gay is NOT a lifestyle unless someone makes it one! You have probably dealt with/known/associated with/ went to school with...many gay people without knowing their sexual preference.

As far as saying that it can't be because of some genetic or hormone factor, how do you explain gay animals? Sure we were made to reproduce, for the most part. All animals MUST reproduce or go extinct. BUT, some animals ARE gay!

Gays won't hurt you or your children, harm the atmosphere, or endanger you in any other way...so why do you care what they do in their bedrooms? (And why is this question in "Politics"??) In fact, why do politicians--notoriously duplicitious panderers to the whims of the money-people--interested in what goes on in people's bedrooms? How did anyone's personal life become a subject for discussion?

And, don't worry...everyone won't "turn" gay--the human species won't die out THAT way. (We'll probably kill ourselves off in a war or die from some presently unknown disease, or be hit by an asteroid!!!)

edit: Homosexuality is NOT human nature--just the nature of SOME humans.

And, to everyone making comments about health: You need to do some serious studying. If you are hinting at AIDS, it is mostly a disease of heterosexuals. If you are referring to some other diseases, there is no higher incidence in gays than in non-gays. Stop spreading inaccurate and divisive rumors and inuendo.

I am not gay, but after all, homosexuality is a part of nature. It occurs in every society, even in American Indians, where it was accepted. You don't need to understand it, just accept it. There is much more out there to be disturbed about. Personally I think that each gay man means less competition for the women for me.

You sound like someone who has spent his or her life in a box.

Homosexuality is probably as old and as common as heterosexuality. Im not gay, but I know people who are and they are nice normal people.

There is 0 chance of the world going homo. You need to educate yourself. Two women can love, marry and produce offspring. Sperm is easy to obtain. There are banks full.

The cause is most likely brain chemistry. Google it, learn some things before you post your next homphobic question.

We live in an age where we can't really trust our Government, we are involved in a really dumb war, Health Inspections have been reduced due to budget. Taco Bell is making people ill and we Still don't definitively know why, Congressmen who chair commitees on child preditors are sending sick emails to Pages, our Constitution is under fire........................and yet............
You are focusing on something that has 0 impact on your life.

Why?

Drinking alcohol and eating refined sugar aren't natural either, but most people do it anyway.

The reason you don't understand homosexuality is because you don't have any experience with it. If you had a gay friend, you would see that they're just like everyone else.

I don't believe it's genetic, either. It's purely environmental, like any other personality characteristic.

Get the Book "Pigs In the Parlor" by Hammond. It explains the sin nature and what seems like heredity is actually what the Bible calls iniquity. Someone in the family lineage did it and nobody broke the curse. That spirit feels it has a right to be in that family line. That spirit is the oppostion to the assigned guardian angel, but the person has to make the choice.

im not gay or anything, but i believe in allowing people to do whatever they want as long as it is not physically hurting another. For those who say homosexuality is blasphemous, then why did God put them on earth? anyways, you'll never win this argument. the homosexuality community is too strong. lol.

Actually many different species exhibit homosexual behaviors. A simple search on google will reveal some studies you can look into.
