The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. I sell books on-line and saw this was a top seller with great reviews. I finally found a copy to read - not in great shape, but the text was all there.

The cultural experience - a front-line look at Afghanistan and the turmoil it has/is experiencing - was very interesting. I'm glad I finally had the opportunity to read it.
