Yes they can. It is not as common but it can happen. For some women it is the time when they are the most fertile. Plus the sperm can live for days in side the woman, and if she drops an egg ---***oops your a mother. And it is a good idea to aways use protection.

No. This is because during the menstruation period, it is not the time for ovulation. It is the time when the outer lining of the uterus sloughs off due to hormonal changes (lowest level of progesterone) thus causing the bleeding and this last about an average of 4 to 5 days. Then after this the uterine wall starts to rebuild again. In about 12 to 15 days since the period, ovulation will take place. This is the time when the uterus is ready (no bleeding) for implantation so sex this time would likely end in pregnancy. On the average, the average menstruation cycle is 28 days. Sex during periods are safe but it is just messy.

Yes, you can get pregnant if you have unprotected sex during your menstrual period because making love within five to six days before ovulation can lead to a pregnancy. Pregnancy is possible any time during your menstrual cycle, even during your menses, because ovulation can happen any time. And if you have sex within five to six days before ovulation, sperm may survive inside the uterus and fallopian tubes until you ovulate. When you have a short menstrual cycle, ovulation occurs much earlier than Cycle Day 14. For example, with a 21-day-cycle you ovulate on day 7 after the LMP, so making love on CD 2 can get you pregnant.

The chances are very slim, but it is possible. Although an egg should not be release for another 2-3 weeks, there is always the slight possibilty that it could happen earlier.

Yes, but it's very unlikely. Women do not ovulate during their period. However, eggs may live for 2 days and sperm may live for 5-7 days inside a woman's body. They could finally meet up during menstruation, but it's rare. Plus, menstrual blood can transmit HIV, so you should definitely practice safe sex during your period.

if she is on her period it would be very hard to get pregnant but it could happen. sperm stays in the vagina for up to three days. but a women ovulates 14 days after her period ends if she has a normal cycle of every 27-32 days . you ovulate for about two days and thats it. but if you dont want to get pregnant you need to use protection anyway.

It is unlikely to get pregnant during your period but there is always a possibility. I would say chances are slim because the unfertilized egg comes out with your period. Good luck.
