XBOX 360 DNS failure?

OK so i got my 360 but the xbox live isnt working the connection reads and the ip address works but once it gets to the DNS test it always fails. I've tried everything but i still can't get it to work...so any help would be nice!

Turn off your firewall. Then have fun!
