All we have up are inside lights and a Christmas tree. We discovered that our three month old baby is fascinated by the tree when the lights are on. We are planning on leaving the tree up until he can crawl, haha. But before having a child my family usually got around to taking the lights down in January or sometimes February. I don't believe I've ever "disassembled" Christmas in December.

Good grief, no! There's still the remaining (11) days of Christmas, the rest of January and all of February to get through, not to mention a good part of March----let's keep those lights bright until Spring!
(not all the time, mind, for those who are upset by energy use)

No. Since I'm latin, they will stay up well after Three Kings Day. As in the "three wise men". It is celebrated January 6th, the 5th being the eve when the wise men mosey in the house with their camels and eat some grass and leave you gifts. Check it out here: http://www.elboricua.com/losreyes.html

Nope, I'm too lazy. I have to work and my kids like the lights so I'll leave it up until New Year's so I can enjoy the lights .
