I think you should try indulging him into any game or just try to talk to him about any topic that interests him but I still think he can
watch cartoons for maximum 3 hours. I have a headache when I watch cartoons for more than 2 or 1,1/2 hours. You might think its silly that I watch cartoons but I can't help it. After all, I am a 9yr
old kid.

Well, i think that there is no problem for him to watch cartoons but if you don't want him to watch cartoons, just spend time with him before he goes to watch tv. He is bored and that's why he always watch cartoons, if you don't want him to watch cartoons, just talk to him or play with him or anything!!! It should be able to work!!!

The same thing was also happening with me. But my sis used do that. i complained to my mom and she told that if my sis is switching on the TV she can watch whatever she wants only for half an hour or one hour and then let me watch whatever i want for one hour. After doing this i am atleast able to watch something in peace. I hope this helps u too.

Try talking to him about it.Maybe he needs some company that he seeks in those cartoons or request him not to watch them.I'm sure he will definately understand u and why u don't want him to watch cartoons.Good Luck!!

hi, well its d same prob wid my bro also. wat i did was dat i started spendin my time wid him whenever he was out of routine! we did many new stuffs like painting,dancing,playing indoor as well outdoor.i took him on ride which he started liking. now he is not much attracted to d cartoons. hope if u tell or treat him in d same manner, i might stop addicting to d cartoons.my br is class 3! hope best 4 u. gud wishes!!! try try untill u success!!

why dont u like him to see.If he sees it all the time it is because he is bored and has nothing else to do.Try to softly talk him out of cartoon.You can arrange for him to do something so that he is busy.Make him busy and he will have no time to watch tv.Engage him in some thing of his interest

Well...is there nythning wrong if he sees them. bt anyways u can take him out somewhere to play some sort of sports.....or if he's very attached 2 tv, make him watch some sensibl things.

Tell him fascinating things about wildlife,flora and fauna.Try to get him to see channels like natgeo,discovery,animal planet etc.Or try to get him good books to read.
