You can travel to Bedugul by the main between Denpasar and Singaraja. It is cool mountain area, very good for walking trips around the lakes and the hills. There is also a nice temple, Pura Uludanau, dedicated to Dewi Danau (water goddess) botanical gardens, and activities on Lake Bratan.
