Maybe this can be reformulated like the more a man does for woman the more he loves her? Do you agree or not?
Thank you,
Maria-

It depends on what he does for her. But generally, no. The only way you can measure how much somebody loves someone is by their emotional/verbal/behavioral expression of love.

Otherwise, it's just assumption with no evidence.

You can spend money or effort on someone for any number of reasons, none of which necessarily have anything whatsoever to do with love.

I think it really depends on the type of woman you are. For some women that is what they like and want but for others they may not like that sort of thing. Me personally I like a man who can do simple things for me like massage my back or take a nice long hot bath with me. Snuggle. I dont think it is how much he spends on dinner or where he takes me or what he buys me but the quality of the time we spend together. I would rather eat at KFC and have all of his attention focused on us then eat at someplace fancy and have him distracted. Its not about money or what is done its about HOW it is done. Money has its place but it should not be the gauge that is used to judge how much someone loves you.

Nope. I wouldn't want to 'waste' my money on anyone. In my past relationships I have always been happy to buy things occasionaly, and let her buy things occasionaly. That way we both are involved in each others happiness and dont keep tabs. As a matter of fact if i ever started dating a woman and she felt like I needed to pay for everything, I would be out of there like quick~ That is soooo 1950s.

No, if a man loved her and he felt the gifts he gave her are an appropriate part of this expression of love, he isn't really wasting money; he's spending it well.

Then again, if the woman is taking advantage of his generosity and doesn't love him back, it might be a waste of money.

Love doesn't mean a man makes himself a woman's servant, but giving is part of the expression of love.

If the money is spent on jewelry and a bunch of crap like that, I think that the guy really loves her, but knows (or believes, feels) that she won't stay if he doesn't spoil her rotten.

I think a man that really cares for a woman also makes sure that her car always has air in the tires, checks the oil, etc etc.

i do not agree at all. spending money on anyone makes that person feel good and your self spending too much is not go your seting up her expectations of you to be very high and when u stop spending she will think you do not lover as much or might think thier is some problem .

nope, remember people like Bill Clinton. All the women he cheated on Hillary with, he gave gifts/prizes & himself. Then denied them later & lied about affairs. They were just paid f*&k buddies.

well possibly, but it could be for other reasons, too. Maybe he feels sorry for her, or thinks she need help, or just is a generous person, or maybe he wants something from her. hard to say without more details

No, he spends more money if she plays hard to get. The minute he has her, the spending stops.
