No medicine and no herbs, and you wish to recover from a cold. The only remaining option is time. You could try acupuncture. You could try reiki. There is always EFT, but if you are unwilling to try herbs, I cannot see why you would use these other methods. My grandmother used to give hot lemonade, but in the world of herbalism, lemons are herbs. While the scientific definition of an herb is a non-woody plant, herbalists use all plants. Chicken soup has been known to help, but the steaming vapors, along with the "herbs" might be of help too. Some teas help. Other than what I've already said, I don't know how to help.

I'm a herbalist and if U had described the herbal plant U have then I'd probably be able to tell U want U have. Take your plant to a Herbal Gardener... You'll be able to find a few in your phone book! If not then go to a Health food store they sell herbs and should be able to tell you! Another thing you could do is go to the library and look at books on herbs.. you'll
likely be able to find a picture of your herbal plant! I have a very strange looking herbal plant and after searching I found it is Aloe Vera!
Aloe Vera is related to the Cactus!

Your local state university cooperative extension is the best bet, they can direct you to any local growers.
