A few days one way or the other should not limit good intentions. But in some Christian communities, Christmas lasts until 12 days after Christmas when it is believed the Wise Men got to the manger and Jesus was circumcised. He goes from the Holy Babe to the Holy PreTeen (?). Members of these churches exchange gifts around the 6th of January.

Yes, you can still wish a Merry Christmas on the day after. However, after that, you should probably switch to "Happy Holidays".

How about a bit of decent grammar and a brain. "Hope you had a wonderful Christmas." Fer starters.
As for your answer: Only for the nightshift on Christmas night is it acceptable. You ask, I answer. Merry Christmas to all those of the night - that would be us and now, which would be acceptable. Feel better?
I do.

Sure, if you mean the one next year. Of course a sincere 'Hope you had a merry Christmas!' would suffice for the day before.

I can't believe all of this negativity!!!
Christmas is not about a certain date or time. It's not about weather or location! It's about the spirit of celebration [of whatever you believe] !!!
It's NOT wrong to wish someone a Merry Christmas on ANY day of the year EVER!!!

It's not right, but it is alright. It would be better if you said "Happy Holidays." It covers you in a number of ways and you won't look like a jerk for giving someone a belated Christmas wish.
