I am having IE6 version in windows XP, when ever i worked with IE5 in Windows 2000, it's not raising any errors while sending & receiving content from websites. How can i degrade my version?

Microsoft 2000 comes to you with IE6 as the default web browser.
I dont think you can degrade the version of IE6 to IE5.

Instead you can go for the new version IE7.

If you are not satisifed with that, i will suggest you to go for Mozilla Firefox which is a free web browser and works quite fast too..

The United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team recommends you not use IE

"There are a number of significant vulnerabilities in technologies related to the IE domain/zone...It is possible to reduce exposure to these vulnerabilities by using a different web browser"

get out your 2000 CD.....uninstall IE6 ..put your CD in and follow the directions IE5 is on your 2000 CD. then don't let it upgrade with auto update . but before you do that. check out all the other browsers on major geeks .com ...i like crazy browser & firefox .you can run all of them if you want.there is about 10 good ones that are free.
