ok i just had a mechanic tell me i need front link kit for the front supension what the heck is he talking about? i think hes trying to rip me off i have no shake in the front end and the car has 12000 miles on it??

ok more info all i took it in for was the basic oil change and tire rotation. he said hey i can move the front end by rocking the tire fron the top. now i know back in the old days this was how you checked for a bad ball joint? but aint no way in hell my car has frontend problems.

Well your car is still under GM warranty... If you have a problem that your local repair guy has suggested to you, take it to the dealership nearest to you and ask them to check it.. If will not cost you anything, providing that the vehicle has not been in a wreck and damage done has not been to customer neglect...If you have owned this car since new, then take it back to dealership...have it check, for free, and If they find nothing wrong.. then take the paperwork to shop that told you that you need this repair, and tell him to KYA...for being a rip off. and have nothing else to do with shop...

there's a bushing in the upper a frame that goes bad in these cars,,id have it checked by a front end shop,,they can tell you whats bad,and have them show you also,,then this way you,ll know there telling you the truth about it,,that's the one way to be sure there not trying to rip you off,,good luck hope this help,s.

could very well be a sway arm link that has broke it is very common for these to break and the driver feels no problem with the car however the shop should have brought you out and showed the broken link to you.

Get a second opinion, its almost brand new so of course you can get that work done for free, but i would make sure that the work actually needs to be done.

With only this many miles on it there shouldn't be anything wrong with your front end.I'd get a second opinion.
