Every well fed moral person thinks "No way". But history would tell us, as you begin to starve the drive to survive is so strong the corpses around you will become your food supply. Gross but true. See the Donner party, the South American Football team air crash etc.

...sure.
That's what happened to the Donner Party and New Guineans in the highlands. If it was good enough for them, it's good enough for me.
Actually, it's really interesting about the New Guineans. In the highlands there are a lot of sources for carbohydrates but not many sources of protein. So they resorted to cannibalism, and it became a great honor to be eaten -- usually families ate their relatives. Problem is cannibalism causes a disease called Kuru, or the laughing disease, which was a brain malady. Victims would lose the ability to walk, talk, and get tremers -- similar to mad cow disease, I suppose. After the government banned cannibalism Kuru ceased to exist.

Well I think if people were put in that position the would/ We are are human and would do what it takes to kill fish, or kill/hunt animals for food so what wold be the big deal for a human under such pressure to eat.
If that was the only source of food and it was a live person and I had to kill he/she NO WAY.

But an already dead person and I am on a deserted island. I think I would throw it up though..but I might because you would start to lose your mind anyway if hunger set in. There might be hullicinations and thirst from lack of water so the craziness would set in...

Since we're made of basically the same stuff, cannibalism would provide all the right nutrients we would need in a pinch. It you cook it right, I'll try anything. Maybe we taste like chicken or pork, in which case a BBQ preparation would probably work well. Heck, if it were legal I'd try BBQ people right now.

My first reaction is to say NO. But honestly I would have to say that I hope that I would be able not to do that if I were put in that situation. I don't think I could live with the that in mind after being rescued or what ever.

I guess it depends on the person you are eating, I am sure I would attempt to hunt or fish for food first. this would be a last resort.

Depends on the severity of the situation and what means to cook that I had available.

You know something, you can't ask a person this question until they ARE in such a situation. Sitting here and thinking about it is not quite the same as acually being there.

This has always been one of my favorite meals. I am a vegetarian, but love to munch on human when I get the chance. I don't see anything wrong with killing people, it's the cute little bunnies and such that I have a hard time with.

I believe at a certain point the instinct for survival takes over and this could happen. I might be the first victim though, as I could not kill those suffering with me.
