It´s how you make someone to do something you want by telling them the opposite, controlling, and manipulating somebody...
For example, let´s say you have a girlfriend and you want to have sex with her, but you don´t want to tell her just like that because she won´t like that, so instead you talk to her about how "respectful" you are, and that you would like to wait until you get to know eachother better, so she might get to think that you "deserve" to have sex with her and make what you first wanted....
Hope you understood what I meant, I sometimes make a mess out of my words...

Reverse Psychology works for some who are smarter than the person on whom he/she uses it. But its a risk as well as you may end up against you.
Its the technique you make others to do things what you think they should do by saying the opposite thing of it or just acting as if you are denying them.

Example: I tell my daughter I don't want her to eat any of the muffins because they are so good that I want them all. That makes her want them for herself, which is what my goal was in the first place (she's a picky eater). I use reverse psychology all the time, to varying degrees of success.

It's called manipulation and it's wrong. If you want to outsmart somebody, that just tells me that you're not really comfortable with your decisions and your self-esteem.

manipulate someone by saying the opposite of what you want (testing them) for example: When I want someone to do something I just tell them they 'can't' do it...or "i bet you can't do it"
