Taxes will be raised, but in the economy, where, people actually work in America. We will spend the money on projects in America. We will utilize the products in America, and we will clean it up in
America with American workers.
Giant difference in approach to our economic needs.
Instead of tax breaks for the rich, which often are used for buying a vacation homes over seas or trips to Europe, stocks from a company outside the legal control of the United States of America, America will start getting the benefit of the Democrats approach to employment and taxes.
Just hold on to your hat! It's Nancy to the rescue!

Of course - what else can the Dems do but complain? Have you heard all the relentless Bush-bashing going on from the libs? They have nerve talking about Bush when they're notorious for raising taxes, forcing us middle class and poor people to fork over even more money to support their fat wallets! Clinton gave us the biggest tax hike in US history and people say our economy was good when Clinton was in office? How can the economy be so good and prosperous when these money-hungry idiots get in office and tax us to death? It seems to me that, to help make an economy flourish, you need to give the consumer/taxpayer reason to spend and/or invest their money - taxing us to death doesn't do that. It only forces us to empty our wallets even more, so we have even less money to pay our bills with, spend and invest our money, etc. I'm from NJ and our idiot governor raised our sales tax to 7%, not to mention the state government shut down earlier this year - what a disaster that was! The shutdown screwed up DMV, the racetracks and some state parks shut down, so the tourist industry was hurting. He's an idiot just like the rest of the 'superman wanna-be' Dems in our government! I can bet that most of the investing will be done overseas 'cause that's where a lot of our businesses ill be headed.

Most people complain about outsoursing, and the claim that demorcrats will raise taxes is all propraganda, they may reduce the tax cuts given to only the wealthy, but to say they will is to have a devise which enbales you to look intothe future, we gave Bush and the republicans years of control so why not gve the party elected by a majority of the people a chance and see what they do? Out sourcing is a non partisain issue I have republican friends who are on their way to the unemployment line who are in high tech jobs with IBM who just got notified that in January they will first go to India and train their replcements then bye bye in Feb. The cost of the war may very well leave us broke!

I am not a democrat but they are quite correct. Jobs are being lost in the USA because most of our goods is, and has been, coming from foreign sources. I do not believe that they will raise taxes in 07. Remember, Bush still has veto power.

I am a democrat (currently, meaning I am trying to keep myself objective to be convinced otherwise and see other points of view), however, I believe 'outsourcing' is a good thing for American business. Nowhere in the U.S. are you going to find 1,000 workers in one town to sew dolls together 8 1/2 hours a day for minimum cost (and I mean by minimum cost I mean less than $15/hour) without a HUGE turnover in the company and high costs just to keep the company running by retaining employees. Personally, I want to live in a country whose expectations are higher. Outsourcing keeps the cost of products cheap here in the U.S. (very cheap), gives jobs and encourages trade with other countries (again keeping products cheap), and allows us to grow in the more productive and lucrative industries (such as computers and bettering our automobiles to compete with other industries).

Thank you! I just answered a question today that said about the same thing. This question basically said "Save Tibet". I said that the democrats have been saying that we (the US) needs to keep our nose out of other countries business and maybe this is a good place to start.

Raising taxes in 07 is inevitable due to the state of our countries finances (thanks to the Republicans) They are going to have to be raised one of these days, we can't get ourselves out of this deficit (which is still growing daily) without raising taxes. How can you, seriously, try to twist that around?

The far left Democrats are attempting to put this country in a position so that there is eventually only one way to get out of it. You can bet that the only way that we will be able to climb out of the pit they want us in will be the in the direction of what they've wanted from the beginning. I feel they are sneaky snakes and their thirst for power knows no bounds.
