Nope. It's called compassion in some cases, shock in others, and a whole plethara of emotions concerning other situations.

As someone who understands disorders such as Post traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizoaffective Disorder from a personal standpoint, nothing that affects me emotionally surprises me in any way.

It's a sick, selfish, and violent world. How can anyone be surprised by being 'affected' by anything that occurs these days. It doesn't help either that we're flooded and bombarded by news reports showing everything from suicide bombings to mass starvation. Armageddon is not far off and God's scriptures in the Bible show that to be true.

yep, about once a month...i get a strong reaction to a LOT of situations that don't involve me.

i usually just ignore it. lol
