Kinda sad since now I have to take down all the decorations that I always take so much time finding the right place to put up and take a lot of effort to make my home looking nice at Christmas time. Now I have to go out in the cold and take down all the outdoor decorations and put them away. I just love the holiday so much that sometimes I wish it would last longer.

I'm really happy that Christmas has come and gone, and look forward to more. Even though Christmas was tight this year, I know I have my family and God has blessed me so far beyond what I deserve.
Even if I was the poorest of the poor in America, I know I have it so much better than so many others across the world. I am grateful for what I have.
Jesus is the reason for the season - - so I also know that my joy should come from Him not from a Christmas present or some turkey either.

As a parent and the person in my family now responsible to host the family gathering I am relieved that it's over. It was a lot of work in the weeks ahead and especially the days before. I was up until 3am Christmas Eve preparing for the meal and wrapping presents. What should be fun is work now. I am an active member of my church and I was looking forward to going to hear the Christmas message but in all the chaos and exhaustion I actually lost track of the days and didn't make it to church on Sunday. I didn't realize until late in the evening that it was even Sunday. That was disappointing. Next year will be very different. The focus will be less on presents & food and more on the real meaning.....the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
God bless you & Merry belated Christmas!

I love Christmas, and am sad to know that it is over, especially after all the time, money, and stress that goes into it. I look forward to Christmas every year, but part of me is relieve that it's over. It's still the holiday season though, lots of time left for family and friends, and I'm very excited for the New Year, and all the possibilities that come with it.

Relieved that it's over. I think the true meaning of Christmas has been lost in the over commercialization of material objects. It doesn't seem to be about what is truly important...the love we have for each other and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. It's more about how much money is spent and each year it get's worse. We should show our appreciation for the ones we love on a regular basis and give, when we can, to people in need through out the year.

well before christmas was like "oh no all that shopping" or " this christmas music and commercials are so irratating" but as you get into it, its like refreshing to wake up into the christmas spirit and smelling the christmas tree. also the weather is what i look foward to at this time because the summer and every other season is hot. but now i feel like im getting old and now i have to get through a whole new year amd seems overwhelming. but i cant wait till new years.

I'm happy I touched the hearts of those around me; much as I hate shopping--I did good (now comes working overtime a couple of months to bring the bills down). I really enjoy the dinner gatherings w/ family and friends--enjoying the traditional stuff and sampling some new foods as well.
I also took time to ponder on my past Christmas memories as a child and how simple life back then was; how I so much want each child to have that same anticipation about it all like I did.
I'm angry at those parents who kill it early for their kids because it's a more politically correct thing (they feel) to do.
And I loudly say "Merry Christmas" and care less who it offends. Let me meet one who does get offended: I'll drop 'em and moon them high w/ rebellious glory, telling them to kizz my azz!!
Merry Christmas to one and all!!

Being a Christian, I carry the spirit of Christmas day with me 365 days a year, and I'm not just saying that, I really mean it, He is always with me. I am not going to miss all the commercials on TV, I did get really tired of them. New Year's is always fun too, although....you know I like even numbered years better than odd numbered years, isn't that funny? Happy New Year to all.
