Reservations in India?

Every politician is talking about reservations, has anyone thought about introducing the same in Sport, say like cricket or Bollywood, it will be fun to watch what the politicians come up with.

Incidently, can anyone name a single Marathi female leading lady in Bollywood, since Bollywood is in Marathi land.

do any dimwit's like you even go to see the Marathi film's, to make them popular, so that the actor's there will get the fame that their counterpart's in the Hindi films get from the audience and the general public.

instead of starting a discussion on reservations, start one on talent, it would be more appreciated by all.

Hope and pray...such thoughts dont creep into our politicians mind as well.
Smita Patil is marathi bollywood actress. The top singers Lata, Asha are marathi. There are so many marathi people in bollywood...only that you've turned a blind eye to them.
In the billion population there are a billion ways to divide them.
Tommorrow one could ask for reservations in parking lot, train/airline seats, theatres, walking on footpath, restaurant....
We should be working towards unifying people rather than dividing them.

Spoon feeding to the backward classification isn't the suited ingredient. they're greater wealty than the others.they have farms, lands, factories, money, earning from pastime, they're lots nicely off. All this makes them think of that they are the bosses, and for that reason they dont choose for to persue training etc. The vote financial corporation techniques of the Politicians is the basis rationalization for this disgusting gadget of reservation. that's a evil, to be burnt off. think of, a student stuidying very no longer uncomplicated, is clever, gets ninety 5% marks, yet has to gface competetion to attend to an admission. when you have admitted, think of the horror of attending classification with this fellow student on the subsequent table, a Dalit consistent with danger, who has secured in basic terms 40 5% marks yet have been given admission by using reservation. I feel that reservations should not be there in India.By doing reservations, govt. is trying to divide us on the basis of caste or religion. We should not forget that we all are one.We are not SC or ST or HINDU,but we all are Indians.In books, we read that India is secular and democratic country but my dear,are these reservations a part of a democratic n secular country?

this infact was already highlighted during last parliament meeting to have a reservation in cricket when Indian cricket team failed to win a single match during south africa tour.I,personally, dont think that its a good idea...Reservation should not be made ,in any field, on caste or anything but only merit

old days...the rulers ( British) divided India in to India and Pakistan and left and we are fighting till today--yes the policy of British to divide and rule still works in India and Pak.

While present day rulers -- BASTARD criminal politicans both in Congress and BJP and JP are diving Indians as SC/ST, BC/BT and you name it so they can continute to rule and make money via corrupt means... we need Presidential form of Govt like in USA for INDIA. God bless India and save it from the corrupt politicans ( semi/illiterate criminals who are ready to sell their own mother if they can make money).
