Well not totally selfish. I mean that you just want to be the first to play through it but otherwise would let him play is kinda silly, but hey nothing wrong with it. Is he showing you what happens in the game or giving something of it away? If not why care who gets through first, but still it is your game and you get to decide.

No. It's your game, so you can let whoever and whomever you want to play it.

But don't most games have several slots, so you can save your game on 1 slot and let your brother save on another spot, so that way you progress at your own pace, and he can progress at his own pace.

If the game doesn't have multiple game save slots, then I think you should let your brother play the game when you're finished, as long as you finish it in a reasonable amount of time, otherwise, just let him play and finish it.

Yes, it is selfish... and there's nothing wrong with it.

Your game, your rule.

But if you think it's more rewarding to let your brother play your game and getting ahead of you than for you to play it through first, then feel free to do so.
