Saint Nicholas was real. Christmas is supposed to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. It has sort of manifested itself into something else. We have all sorts of traditions from all over the globe combined to create a mega-holiday. Research Christmas on the web and learn for yourself how Santa came to represent Christmas.
