what scope does biotechnology have? will bio war affect this field?

There is abundant scopr for the subject... The generation of bio fuels, bio degradable plastics, bio fertilizers, etc etc...

Nature throws open endless opportunities to meet every emerging situation... When we were afraid that fossil fuels would be exhausted in less than a century at the rate of increasing consumption, the potential of bio fuels opened up... When chemical fertilisers were creating problems of pollution (besides cost factor etc), the eco friendly and cheap bio fertilizers came to our rescue...

I recall the prophetic song of Gurudev Tagore (in his famous work Gitanjali) that "...Lord, thy love knows no end in me... where old words die, new melodies break forth... where old tracks are lost a new country is revealed with its wonders... thou has given me homes in far off lands and made brother of a stranger..." and so on (I may have changed some words in the recollection but the content is about the same... The imagination does not seem restricted to God's Love for blessed souls like this Poet but open to the whole humanity...

But humans being what they are... angels in adversity and devils in prosperity... they are bound to misuse every blessing of nature...bio war not excluded...
