What is an I-Search Paper?

I have a write an I-Search paper about a talent or potential talent that i would like to develop or learn more about. I have to include proper documentation for the sources I use to research the topic.
I recently just started doing high school online and have never done and I-Search paper so I have no idea what it is or what documentation it is talking about. Can anyone Help Me?
