The war actually was long time over but there are those who just doesnt want to leave the country for political reasons. Winning is when the Iraqis are free and the Americans left Iraq with majority approval from more countries than criticism.

Exactly the point, winning is irrelevant and always was.

The original mission was to kick Al Queda @$$ and get the criminal Bin Laden, and his brothers Bin Drinkin, Bin Snortin and Bin Sleepin. The whole mission was clouded with this Iraq thing. Althought it was a good idea to clean up the Iraq mess, the mission there is done and we won...Hussain is captured and his henchmen are out. We need only give the country back to the owners and leave. That has NOTHING to do with winning, it has to do with leaving the place in a state of being able to take care itself.

The United States should learn that when going to war, you go to war to win, not fool around with a civilian army that will never be beaten. You go there, nuke the whole country and start all over again. I'm sorry, but that is what war is all about.

I think winning would mean destruction of lives, civil wars and a whole lot of holiballoo! but i think its not an option its best not to win this war because if we did we would really destroy lives and another question is WHY ARE WE INTERFERING IN THEIR LIVES!!!

It can't be won. The "enemy" has no central base as in WWII, Vietnam, Korea....
This enemy isn't going to just give up. Attacking Iraq has done more harm than good.

The war is over. There is no way to stay and fight the remaining insurgents without an occupation declared.

We already lost when we did not leave in 2003 but it will take the Bush administration a few more years to realize it.
