It CAN be eggs from a platy.

IF a platy is stressed it can abort and have dead eggs. Ive seen this with a guppy of mine a while back.

I would check your water and temps. The eggs (if that is what it is) will not hatch so toss them out!

Platys do not lay eggs. They are livebearers, which means they have live fry. I know what you are talking about though, my guppies do this sometimes. The bubbles are stillborn platy fry that have not developed yet. It happens when a female gets stressed and aborts her pregnancy for her own safety.

OMR Rubber why do you even bother when you have absolutely no clue as to what the question is. Trying to get your points up and get a good rank? How about this suggestion, STOP!

Platies will only give birth to live young, this sounds like she is aborting her eggs. Could be caused by shock, bumps, water temperature or any thing is possible.

Mine would often do this if i put them in the breeding traps too early.

She should be ok and will probaly give birth in a month or so.
