First, get a pregnancy test. You might or might not be pregnant and that will guide all else that follows.

if you are pregnant, you have 3 choices - continue the pregnancy, give it up for adoption, abort the pregnancy.

If you choose the latter, know that

Nowhere in the bible does it say that abortion is a sin. It just depends on how you personally view abortion. For some, it is the right decision if they can't support the baby or it would be dangerous to their health or it would ruin their lives.

The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice Educational Series presents well-informed, balanced explanations on issues related to reproductive choice. Scholars, theologians, and clergy address these controversial issues from diverse religious perspectives.

It takes 2 to get pregnant, so the person you had sex with also has to take responsibility. But taking responsibility does not mean getting married if you don't love each other.

I just had a baby and it's hard being a mom. I can't imagine going through school with a baby without a supportive husband/family. Sometimes it's better to wait to have kids when you have the right finances, right husband.

If you need support after an abortion, there is an after abortion peer support line. 1-866-4 EXHALE

They are NOT anti-abortion. There are just always issues after an unwanted pregnancy whether you keep or terminate.

Good luck!

Wow I have to wonder where some people get their information. You can get pregnant at any time during your cycle. While 'typically' women are more prone to getting pregnant between 8 and 16 days (from the first day of their last period) that is not alwasy the case.

Figgure out when your last period was count 28 days (since that is typical) that should be when you have your next cycle +/- a few days. Once you get to that day wait another day then take a home pregnancy test.

Really there is no need to panic just yet...but being prepared will help you in the long run!

Good luck!

Take the test or get checked at a local clinic. If you need to talk to someone, try these guys;

Girls and Boys Town National Hotline

Call With any Problem, Anytime
1-800-448-3000 (TDD 1-800-448-1833)
Open 24 hours a day, everyday

The Girls and Boys Town National Hotline is a 24-hour crisis, resource and referral line. Trained counselors can respond to your questions every day of the week, 365 days a year. In 2005, more than 410,000 children and families were helped through the Girls and Boys Town national hotline, and over the past decade, more than 7 million callers have found help at the end of the line.

Best of Luck!

I know what your feeling, I got pregnant when I was 16 and totally freaked. First thing if you had sex right after your period, then it may be unlikely your pregnant since you're no longer ovulating. Second get a pregnancy test to be sure. You can always got a Women's Care or Planned Parenthood and get a free pregnancy test, they could also give you some counseling regardless if its + or -. You really can't do much until you know for sure, then the decision is up to you. I know a lot of people talk smack about issues like this, but it's best to talk to an adult you can trust and then do what you feel you have to do.

Good luck!

If you had sex right after your period, you are not pregnant. You are feeling this way because you are stressed about it. I hink you will be fine. If your cycle is 28 days (number of days from the start of one period to the start of the next), then you can only get pregnant by having sex on the 12th, 13th and 14th days. Of course, don't use that information as your primary form of birth control! But, just keep it in mind that those days are especially risky and you should stay on your birth control.

If you are pregnant, seriously consider adoption. It is a fabulous option. If you keep it, you can still make your dreams come true, you just have to work extra hard. However, I seriously doubt you are pregnant if the info you shared was correct.

Good luck.

Get to a doctor, that's what you need to do. If you keep the pregnancy(if you are pregnant),you can let the baby be adopted and work a settlement out to see the child,or have a family member raise the child until you are financially stable. But then you might have to pay child support.
I must stress this....
Get to a doctor and get tested.

I'm 17 and I have a few real good friends my age that have kids,so I understand.

Buy a pregnancy test at a discount store such as Wal Mart, if it comes back that you are pregnant, see a doctor immediately. Whether you choose to give it up for an adoption, drop it off at a hospital, or do something else, make sure that you see a doctor if you find out that you are pregnant. Did you wait until your next period to see if it comes on time?

Um, assuming you've already heard the "that was stupid" bit, I'll skip that lecture =P

The next step is to see a doctor, or http://www.plannedparenthood.org/#. Find out everything you can. Take pregnancy tests if you feel it necessary... you might be embarrassed or whatever but you can't let that stop you from doing what needs to be done.

Definitely talk to someone that knows though... and planned parenthood centers are there to help. Chances are there's one near you so look into that.

Life is short , I was overprotective too when I was your age now I look back and see a pathetic loser who's need to be a profectionist left her with everything she wanted but has no need for . Real happiness comes from babies , and love . Everything else is just something on a side . If you rush too fast you end up having a heart attack , and a promised land will be afar. Have this baby , and you can still be a nurse. You need to want to for someone , if you only doing thing for yourself you end up traveling a road which doesn't lead to Heaven.
