If you run from a problem, it not only delays the inevitable but makes it worse...if you're running from a pitbull, then yes!!!

Inevitable: "incapable of being avoided or evaded" (Webster)
So, if you manage to put it off it's still not avoided.
Therefore, if something is truly inevitable, then running will only delay it.
Better question would be, is anything truly inevitable?

Depends who's doing the running...and to or from what.
I 'will' run, as fast as Mercurys winged feet will carry me, across the ocean, to be with my Love. This wont delay the inevitable......but bring it to a wonderful conclusion.
However....I will 'never' run from a fight.....but see it through to the bitter end...
....and it will be like being in the eye of a hurrican....while I remain calm, I will leave a trail of chaos and destruction behind me...
I may be an Arcangel by name.....but I am a devil by nature.

But sometimes when you face it head on it's not as bad as you thought it would be. For instance, I have to go to work tomorrow and I can't stop it or even run from it. But it's not that bad. I have a job, which is a good thing. And better yet, I really like what I do.

Yes. you cannot run away from your troubles as they follow you. And where ever you go there you are. Face up to things and deal with them right away and it will make you a much stronger person.

I believe that every human has a finite number of heartbeats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
