My fiance is currently deployed in Iraq and will return in April. What are some good ideas/ romantic ideas that I can do for him when he comes home. I'm throwing a party for him and our families, but I want to do something just for us.

I don't have any fantastic suggestions because I don't know your favorites things. But I will say this, find a way to do something special for him and you after he gets to check in with his family...save the party for a few days after he gets home. He is going to be so excited and exhausted when he first gets home that you don't want to over do it. Then again...you can ask him things like...what is the first thing he wants to do when he gets home.....this way you can make sure that you two are on the same page. I am sorry your fiance is so far away....I'm sure he is helping the greater good over there.......good luck and many prayers!!!

Take him home--let him relax--be with each other and let him unwind for awhile--he would probably like that alot more than a party at this time--you can plan a party for him another day--just the day he's home--let him rest--he'll be very tired.

You should celebrate, take him out clubbing, show him off. Make him the most important guy in the world (no joke, it might keep him with you longer). Find the resturants and people who know him, let him know you can make it a social event(I didn't say anything about the private side on purpose).

he is probably going to be tired, and missing alot of things from home. this may not sound too fantastic, but cook his fav food, rent his fav movie, and let him relax. let him just be there and spend a quiet time at home with you. give him a little time if he needs it. he may appreciate this because of where he is returning from.
