It doesn't exist.

Neal Boortz said it best: "Successful people drive home in the dark." That means that those who put in long hard hours, day after day, not taking time off for anything less than an emergency appendectomy, are the ones who get ahead.

Women who have children can't do this; and, because most women DO have children, they are unable to compete. This makes fewer women than men at the top.

amazing the hormonal flair this question brings.

A woman CAN get the same pay depending on the work she is doing. Some things men are cut out for, other things women can do better. If it is a corporate position then we are stuck as the lessor group. Not because we happen to have **** or have to sit to pee but because we are fighting tradition. It is changing but it is like carrying water in a colander. there are more women in the corporate world now than ever before and the pay is getting better. Woman are neither better or inferior to men. It's just that we can do some things better and others not as well. (I can change a tire, spark plugs and oil. I don't like to and if there is a big strong man around I can guaranty "I" won't be doing it. And while there are many many men in the world that can cook and sew I will not wear a dress that the guy down the street made or let my Boyfriend any where near a kitchen).
We are all unique.
Also I have lived with both men and women from time to time and they both come home tired and want dinner ready and yes they both want the same thing, just in different ways.

I think that women have a bigger problem then just the glass ceiling to worry about. Women work in the corporate world all the time but we cant get paid the same as a man in the same position. Everywhere we turn we are considered inferior. You see countless reports that state that women cannot make it in the corporate world because they gossip and are too emotional and on and on. I think that women should get paid more then men because they can manage to go to work and balance life. Men can barely go to work. They work and go home and then expect a woman to wait on them hand and foot. Some women cant handle the corporate world but some men cant either. i dont think it should be about gender it should be about skill and there are some women who have just as much if not more skill then a man. Women are the most awesome and strongest people on the face of the earth and men would be in serious trouble if we did not exist.

Promotions should be based on whomever is best qualified for the position. That may not be the same person who is the best at what they CURRENTLY do.

That said, I am a male working with mostly males. I find women in the workplace to be a distraction for me. Of course, that's just my feelings and has no bearing on their ability.
