Please inform OS vendor and ask them to provide you with support.
Normally if you can provide the OS Certificate Of Authenticity, they will re-issue you a key to install the OS again, and barred the old key.

It sounds like you need to repurchase an OS, I'm assuming you're talking XP, and, unless you're buying an OEM disk (full retail, twice the price) you likely won't be able to reinstall over the same install. (you only get a few tries with XP SP2 Upgrade and then you have to PURCHASE a alphanumeric key code from MS)
Buy your OEM OS, choose new installation, and the whole MS regimarole will start up again. Good luck to you, poor soul.

you're fortunate im online at the instant becasue i reinstalled some OS's on some CPu's at my residing house specific this is going to DELETE all your archives particularly in case you DONT HAVE a CLUE of WHAT you're doing LOL first of all make restoration discs or BAckup discs of all your archives or pass to terrific purchase and get an exterior tricky force to make the approach faster of transfering all your archives to it after that in case you have an OS CD save on with the guidelines and delete or write over the previous tricky force it quite is" force C: via default " write over the partition or basically delete the previous one and make a clean one yet as long as you saved you archives you should be positive no count what you do yet once you didnt save your archives or subsidized them up basically restore the OS somewhat or you will delete each and every thing

Contact with your OS vendor, informing the details. They will supply you the replaced one and will deactivate the new installation. You can run with your OS then.
