My sister got an ipod yesterday. She unplugged it when i said do not connect then all the songs she uploaded where lost only unplug when it dosen't say no not disconnect.

If you downloaded songs from itunes it may take awhile depending on your internet connection. It will tell you when you can disconnect. Just wait. If it has been like 20 minutes or longer, then there might be something wrong. The worse thing that could happen is you would have to put the songs into the ipod again so I would unplug it if it has been that long and see what happens.

I wouldn't recommend it. Try clicking the eject button again on the iTunes window, and if that doesn't work, open my computer, find the iPod, right click it and hit eject. Alternatively, try clicking the icon near your clock on the computer and click safely remove hardware and click the iPod.

Or go to the iPod website and look for help there.
