That seems to be what all young people who are democrats are enchanted by. I know some younger people keep up with politics but the average kid is busy wondering when the next party is and all they hear is 'abortions are legal, so i can have all the sex i want', 'no draft for war, so i don't have to fight for what are forefathers created', 'legalize pot, bc its no worse then alcohol', and their only hope of open mindedness is making sure their girl has an open mind to have a three-sum.

I know the democrats aren't complaining but i just think that the voting age should be lifted or something so that people who actually know whats going on are the ones who vote, not people who just have a romantic idea of the ways things could be.

Sorry, this is just my latest rant since i saw my cousin today... BTW Merry Christmas!!! or whatever you celebrate, have a good one and a good new year!

I have the same conversations with my brother-in-laws who are young adults( so they like to be called) but their views are uneducated and extreme. Yes, they are Liberals and if it feels good do it. We have a volunteer military if you are under 21 and enlist then you should get to vote . Otherwise the youth are too taken by the glamor of sex, drugs , and rock'n roll. Reminds me of myself yet in those days Reagan was president and I admired him greatly. He had a profound impact on my life. I pray those that are being poisoned by the far lefts unrelenting thirst for power which knows no bounds don't take the easy road and hope the government will do for them for the rest of their lives so they can never grow up. Where are the Democrats of yesteryear that said,"ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. (John F. Kennedy)
Merry Christmas God Bless

Excuse me? My opinion about abortion has nothing to do with the amount of sex I get to have. Abortion needs to be legal because it is a basic human reproductive right. (And we really need to stop increasing our population, because the Earth is getting to the point (if it's not already there) where it cannot support more people.)

There should not be a draft, not because I don't want to fight for our country, but because it's a totalitarian system. Besides, the every war we've fought since WWII has not been about this country or the ideals that our forefathers laid down. They have been about greed.

Marijuana should be legalized. I have no intention of doing it. I don't want to do it. It is a poison and has negative effects on your body. However, whenever you make drugs illegal, the rate of use for that drug goes up, the rate of violent crime goes up, and the drug becomes very expensive and organized crime gets the profits from it. More powerful and dangerous drugs become more common because they make a bigger profit. I am not making this up. See the Harrison Narcotics Act, Prohibition, and "the War on Drugs."

Wow, I thought I stepped back into one of my mom's coffee clatches!
It sounds just like the stuff she and all of her friends complained about in the 60's and 70's... when kids were saying "If it feels good, do it."

I guess some things never really change, do they?

And you enjoy your rant! Merry Christmas!

Wow - that sounded just like some of my rants - and we will soon see what their true colors are after they take majority control in January.

Freedom without sacrifice - if it feels good, do it - to hell with tradition - and on and on it goes.

Right back at ya with a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Liberalism is good when it is still within the rules and the Constitution.

The younger generation is much more conservative than you believe. We are far more conservative than The Worst Generation - the Baby Boomers who sucked off the teat and accomplishments of their parents - The Greatest Generation. The Boomers lost their war and are responsible for this one too. Wach out though you washed up hippies! Many of you became think tank neocon nerds! LOL! OMG! Watch out fools, we are coming up behind you and we are going to strip you baby boomer losers of all your entitlements. SO SORRY CHARLIE!
