why is it that they make the clothing sizes so difficult ?

vanity sizing- they try to make people feel better by making the clothes bigger, but with smaller sizes

First people come in all shapes and sizes, you could be a size 2 in tops and 6 in pants, but depending on the style, a dress could fit better anywhere between these sizes. A size 6 dress could fit you on the hips perfectly but just hang off you from the waist and bust.
If dresses were labeled more for body types it would be easier, but then again more stores and brands don't follow the standard size chart anyway.
I know I can be a size 0 in one outfit and then a size 6 in another.
Which is just because stores etc..have realized most people are more likely to buy something if the size is smaller..even though it really isn't. It's all psychological.
The European size chart is more accurate because it's done in inches, but then again being a size 34 bust, doesn't always mean that it will fit properly around the waist also.

I don't know why the sizes are so difficult to match except a standard was created and I haven't met anyone yet who meet those standards right off the bat. Just recently, designers and manufacturers have realized that petite doesn't just mean tiny...but short as well. I used to not be able to find any petities in any sizes larger than a 12. Now petites are created for all sizes above 12 also.

I know it is so annoying !
I have the hardest time finding pants that fit my waist and everywhere else too, i'm usually a size zero but at a lot of stores that i don't fit in size zero but the size 2 waist is too big!

n then sometimes u get ur size n he doesnt fit u cause its 2 big or 2 small same with shoes,jeans,shrits

i have NO idea, but i hate pants cause i'm short, so it's hard to find pants that are short enough for me w/o having to hem them
